Implementation status disputed — review pending (2026-09-28). The user believes this work may still be live and may not have been implemented. Earlier completion and issue-closure assertions below are historical reports, not confirmed implementation. Keep this record visible until the owner distinguishes analysis, agreed process, actual rollout, and routine adoption, and sets the next milestone/date.

This project aims to establish a lightweight, working process for producing RFP proposals using the datopian/bizdev repo as the shared context source. The earlier record reported setup done and the process in use. The user now questions actual implementation, so this record remains active pending confirmation.

Previously reported work — implementation unconfirmed

The earlier account described a simpler process than originally planned, without a formal technical-owner appointment or complex onboarding. Its rollout needs confirmation.

Previously reported process design — verify actual use:

  • Use the bizdev repo as context. It already contains the relevant business, technical, and proposal context. We enrich it continuously as we learn more.
  • Produce proposals with AI using that context. Daniela (or whoever is leading the bid) drives this — no dependency on Anuar for writing.
  • Anuar reviews and signs off. He doesn't need to write. At minimum, he reviews and approves the technical content before submission. This should not take long.

The earlier record reported a first proposal produced without Anuar writing it. The user disputes the implementation status; this claimed validation needs confirmation.

Proposed / previously reported operating process

  1. Open the RFP issue in datopian/sales and fill in the bid decision (win thesis, red blockers, proof).
  2. Use the bizdev repo as context — load relevant sections, case studies, and technical reference into the AI session.
  3. Draft the proposal. Enrich the bizdev repo with anything new learned during the process.
  4. Send to Anuar for technical review and sign-off before submission.
  5. Submit.

This is a continuous process. The bizdev repo gets better with every proposal.

What this is not

  • This is not a process where Anuar is the bottleneck or the primary writer.
  • This is not a complex tooling or onboarding project.
  • Technical ownership does not need to be formally appointed — it's whoever is working on the bid.

Ongoing

  • Enrich the bizdev repo after each proposal: add new proof items, update case studies, note what worked in evaluator feedback.
  • If Anuar's review becomes a bottleneck, scope his involvement further down to sign-off only on mandatory technical claims.
