Cross-posting experiment
The LinkedIn-to-Meta prototype detects LinkedIn posts lacking Meta versions, adapts captions and covers, and schedules posting. Instagram sizing was recorded as fixed; PDF-cover quality, API costs, scheduling frequency, and the continue/simplify/stop decision remained unresolved. Volume and Velocity is the initiative for automating Datopian's social posting workflows so the team can publish more consistently while spending less manual effort on drafting, reviewing, adapting, and posting content.
Why this exists
Datopian wants to be more present on social media, but the current posting process still depends too heavily on manual effort, inconsistent handoffs, and people remembering to post or cross-post content. The aim of this initiative is to remove those bottlenecks one by one through practical workflow automation.
Current priority
The Discord-to-GitHub review-queue experiment was retired from this repo in September 2026. The remaining experiment to review is LinkedIn-to-Meta cross-posting automation, tracked through the initiative and its execution issue.
