Wise Interest Earnings
Wise Earnings is Datopian's source of low-risk, passive interest earnings that require minimum involvement and has consistently delivered passive income for the company since January 2025. For years, Datopian sat on a large sum of idle cash that a part of its main function as a cash reserve and rainy day buffer, remained unused. As a Revenue stream, Wise interest has delivered over 27k USD for 2025, 36k USD by May 20th, 2026 and immediately took 3rd place in our Revenue mix after Professional Services and Hosting & Support.
Active Projects
- If interest rates head on a regular path of lowering interest rates and Central Banks interest outlook is for itnerests to go back to zero, that will kick off a project to identify alternatives and shift resources. A trigger for that will also be if interests reach 0.5%.
Why this exists
We want Finance to not only be a scorekeeper that reports past results but to be a strategic partner that ensures capital is directed toward the most profitable and high-growth opportunities, ensure the business has the liquidity to navigate economic shifts and identify operational inefficiencies.
